After a week of fans' frenzied speculation, Beyoncé and Jay Z have welcomed their twins.

Us Weekly reported Saturday that Bey gave birth to the babies earlier this week, citing multiple sources with knowledge of the event.

At press time, neither Beyoncé nor Jay Z had publicly acknowledged the births, although speculation had increased this past week after reports the Knowles family had been seen at a Los Angeles hospital.

Adding fuel to the rumors was Jay's absence from his history-making induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, leaving many to wonder if his growing family was keeping him away.

Beyoncé announced back in February she and Jay Z were expecting. The twins join big sister, five-year-old Blue Ivy Carter.

A rep for Beyoncé was not immediately available for comment.
