David Thewlis, best known as Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter film series, has joined the upcoming third season of FX's Fargo as a series regular.

Entertainment Weekly reported Monday the actor will play V.M. As we previously mentioned, McGregor, comedian Jim Gaffigan10 Cloverfield Lane's Mary Elizabeth Winstead and The Leftovers' Carrie Coon are among those who have already joined the cast of the new installment of Fargo.

Following a longer hiatus than the break between the first two seasons, Fargo is expected to launch its third run this spring.
