Solána Rowe (aka SZA) took to Twitter on Monday afternoon hinting at tension with—or a possible split from—her label Top Dawg Entertainment, which is distributed through Interscope Records.

In response to a fan asking about her album's status, noting Schoolboy Q "said [you] got a classic for us," the singer gave a discouraging update. "Prolly not. Punch knows best," she said, in a since-deleted tweet, referencing TDE's co-president Terrence "Punch" Henderson.

She then proceeded to suggest she may have ditched TDE. "I actually quit," she tweeted, tagging Henderson. "@iamstillpunch can release my album if he ever feels like it. Y'all be blessed."

It's unclear what happened, but fans have quickly reacted with disappointment, as the album has been teased for much of the past year. SZA has been the only female artist on TDE's roster, which also boasts the likes of Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q.

SZA's last publicly released material was her rework of PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake's "Come and See Me," which arrived back in May.

It's worth mentioning that since this story was originally published, SZA has deleted her cryptic tweet and Henderson has seemingly responded to the speculation with a photo of Heath Ledger as The Joker and simply "Lol" as the caption.
