After weeks of dropping hints, Abel Tesfaye (aka The Weeknd) has confirmed his new album will be called Starboy.

He shared the title Wednesday with the corresponding artwork, which features the singer photographed by Kanye West and Frank Ocean collaborator Nabil, while sporting a much different haircut while wearing a leather jacket and a large cross around his neck.

As of late Wednesday, posters with a Nov. 25 release date have surfaced around New York City. A rep for The Weeknd did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but sources tell us the information is indeed accurate.

Additionally, The Weeknd's new single, which is also the title track and features Daft Punk, will be released Thursday morning.

The new record will follow his previous full-length, the Grammy-winning Beauty Behind the Madness, which arrived just over a year ago.

As we previously reported, Tesfaye has been working on the new record for much of the past year, having even dropped out of Rihanna's tour. He was also recently in the studio with Daft Punk, although it's unclear if the trio was working on material for the forthcoming album.

Little else is known about Starboy, but Tesfaye earlier this year acknowledged he had been working with some of the team from his debut mixtape House of Balloons, likely a promising sign for his early fans.

Update: Hear "Starboy" now on Apple Music. The album, which will feature 18 tracks, is available now for pre-order.
