Following his cover of Taylor Swift's 1989 album, Ryan Adams will release his next full-length of original material this fall.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Adams confirmed the record, which is said to be influenced by the likes of Bruce Springsteen and AC/DC, will arrive on Nov. 4.
"When I run, I listen to [an iPod] Nano that I have. I put all the AC/DC records on from back to front," he said. "Or I’ll listen to the best of stuff from the ’80s: Springsteen, or Hornsby, and I’ll listen to what is going on there. I was listening to AC/DC’s Fly On The Wall and that’s when I realized what I had to do for the record."
In preparation for the album, Adams says he wrote "quite literally 80" songs, of which only 11 will make the cut.
The currently untitled set follows Adams' previous offering, his self-titled album, which was released in 2014.
