Only weeks since Sasquatch! Music Festival wrapped its 2013 event, organizers on Thursday announced plans to add a second weekend next year. In contrast to festivals like Coachella and Austin City Limits, which have expanded to two weekends, Sasquatch! will feature entirely different lineups over the course of its non-consecutive weekends.

Also unlike its peers, Sasquatch! will not feature back-to-back weekends of music. Instead, it will almost be like two completely separate festivals: one over Memorial Day weekend (May 23-25) and the other over Independence Day weekend (July 4-6). Both events will take place at The Gorge in George, Wash.
