Andy Samberg's freshman comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine finished up the week with some great news, as Fox gave the newbie series a full season order, extending it to 22 episodes.
Additionally, the show will also air alongside Zooey Deschanel-fronted New Girl in a "special one-hour comedy event" following Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014.

“It’s exciting to see that both critics and fans love Brooklyn Nine-Nine as much as we do,” Fox president Kevin Reilly said of the network's decision to give such a coveted time slot to the show, which has averaged 6 million viewers. “With Andy and Andre [Braugher] out in front of this incredible ensemble, it feels like this show is going to be around for a long time.”
