It's only been a little over a year since the release of their latest album, Bankrupt!, but it appears Phoenix may be working on new music already.

The band tweeted a photo Wednesday morning of singer Thomas Mars in the studio recording vocals with the vague caption, "More info very soon…."

Guitarist Laurent Brancowitz told Variance back in October that they don't plan on taking as big a break between Bankrupt! and their next album, explaining that they're "in a different place now as a band ... Last time, we needed the space and the time away. Out of view."

Mars told Rolling Stone in January that they've been taking time to work on a new record in between touring.

Just last week, the band said their upcoming performance at FYF Fest in Los Angeles "will be our last show for a long time."
