Saturday Night Live's upcoming SNL 40 reunion special is shaping up to be must-see TV.

On Feb. 1 during the Super Bowl, the NBC sketch comedy series first confirmed nearly 50 alumni, former hosts and musical guests slated to appear in some form this Sunday from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. EST.

As of Feb. 10, previously announced guests Kanye West and Paul McCartney are expected to perform together. Billy Crystal, Miley Cyrus, Ana Gasteyer and Kevin Nealon have also been added to the lineup, according to NBC.

As of Feb. 11, Bradley Cooper, Edward Norton and SNL vets Joe Piscopo and Colin Quinn have been confirmed as part of the lineup.

As of Feb. 12, SNL alums Will Forte and Tim Meadows have joined Sunday's lineup.

As of Feb. 13, Louis C.K., one of the show's most frequent hosts of all time (13) John Goodman and SNL vet Jon Lovitz have also been added to the roster. That makes for at least 62 returning alumni, hosts or musical guests.

NBC's Today show has also confirmed a number of other former hosts, music guests and public figures returning. Among them are 50 Cent, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Cheri Oteri, Fiona Apple, Glenn Close, Jack White, Jon Bon Jovi, Michael Douglas, Sarah Palin and Sigourney Weaver.

As of Feb. 14, *NSYNC has confirmed they'll be reuniting in some form for SNL 40.

As of Feb. 15, we've also confirmed the following to be returning: David Koechner, Diddy, HAIM, Kings of Leon, Michael Bolton and Whoopi Goldberg.

It's worth noting several familiar former SNL hosts or cast members have not been announced nor confirmed: Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Danny DeVito, Ben Affleck, Damon Wayans, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Robert Downey Jr.

What to expect? Creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels promises more live performances than clips compared to previous anniversary celebrations. There have also been plans for a reunion version of "The Californians" with a variety of different performers. Additionally, not all the music artists returning are necessarily performing music. Michaels has noted only "Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Paul Simon, two or three other big numbers." On Sunday, Michaels revealed there will be a new edition of "Celebrity Jeopardy!," while Jim Belushi has hinted at a "Blues Brothers" sketch.
