As Kesha's legal battle against Dr. Luke continues, the singer on Sunday received support from one of pop music's biggest names, Taylor Swift.

Swift's rep confirmed tonight that she has donated $250,000 to Kesha: "In a show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time."

The news comes as a number of female singers have shown their support for Kesha, who learned Friday in court that her contract with Sony will not be terminated, despite allegations against mega-producer Dr. Luke, who the 28-year-old songstress has accused of drugging her with a blackout pill and raping her shortly after her 18th birthday.

Lady Gaga, Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino, HAIM, Ariana Grande, Lorde and Demi Lovato have all publicly defended Kesha in recent days, as has Kelly Clarkson, whose 2004 hit "Since U Been Gone"—which Dr. Luke co-produced—boosted his career in the music industry.
