BBC Radio 1 confirmed Wednesday it will premiere Adele's new single next Friday (Oct. 30), serving as the first preview of the singer's long-awaited album 25.
The news comes only days after Adele teased the track, titled "Hello," during Sunday's broadcast of The X Factor on British television.
She confirmed today in a letter posted to Twitter the album will indeed be called 25. She described it as a "make-up record," explaining that she's "making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did."
As we previously mentioned, the album is reportedly due sometime next month.
Update: "Hello" will actually arrive this Friday (Oct. 23), not next Friday.
