After months of hints pointing to a new album, Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) has made it official, announcing he'll debut his new record at a three-day concert event this September.

Set to take place over Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2-4, in Joshua Tree, California, the rapper-actor will perform new music for fans, promising a “full album experience."

Glover revealed the news on a smartphone app called PHAROS Earth, which he mysteriously tweeted the link for on Friday.

Tickets officially go on sale next Monday (June 27) at 11:00 a.m. CST, although group tickets will become available in a pre-sale starting this Friday.

As we previously mentioned, producer Andrew Dawson suggested earlier this year he worked on the new Gambino record, which is said to have been in the works since at least 2015.

Glover has also been keeping busy on screen, joining the cast of the new Spider-Man: Homecoming movie and with his new Atlanta series premiering this summer on FX.

His last album was Because the Internet, which was one of Variance's Best Albums of 2013.
