Adele held back tears Sunday night as she opened her show in Antwerp, Belgium, by informing the audience she was dedicating the entire performance to the victims of the shooting at gay nightclub Pulse in Orlando, Florida.
“I’d like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub last night,” she said, before declaring: "The LGBTQI [Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning and Intersex] community – they’re like my soulmates, since I was really young, so I’m really moved by it."
