Five days after Prince's shocking death, his sister now says the singer did not have a known will.

Tyka Nelson, who is Prince's only surviving full sibling, filed paperwork on Tuesday in Carver County probate court in Minneapolis to be appointed special executor of Prince's estate.

Nelson said today her appointment is necessary to protect Prince's business interests.

While Prince reportedly had some financial struggles in his final years, his untimely passing has sent music and merchandise sales skyrocketing, with nearly 3.5 million paid downloads of his recordings since Thursday.

Prince is also said to have had a vault of demos, unfinished music and fully produced tracks yet to be heard by the public.
