As we previously reported, Pearl Jam was due to make a special announcement today. And they certainly did. The band, which had planned to play a couple of shows later this month, has confirmed a full North American tour, which will begin in October.

Tickets will go on sale on July 27 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Current "Ten Club" members are eligible for a pre-sale, which begins today (Monday).

The band is also expected to release a new single, "Mind Your Manners," later this month.
