Forget the loaded fourth quarter of amazing albums set to release this year. Dave Grohl is pushing us into 2014 now.

Speaking to U.K. radio network XFM on Friday, the Foo Fighters frontman revealed that he has completed the writing process of the band's new record. Although cautioning that an official release date is still to come, he promised that "next year is going to be a really big year for the Foo Fighters, without question," further explaining that the album will be made "in a way that no one’s ever done before.”

Foo Fighters' last record, 2011's Wasting Light, was nominated for five GRAMMYs, including Album of the Year. The album was also the band's first to hit No. 1 on Billboard.
