'Jimmy Fallon' Dedicating Entire Week to Pearl Jam; Will Feature Avett Brothers, Chris Cornell, Fleet Foxes & More

Get ready for Pearl Jam Week on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, because it's happening.

Following news earlier Friday that Fox will feature nearly 50 of Pearl Jam's songs during this year's World Series, the NBC late night talk show has confirmed that performances during the week of Oct. 21 will be reserved for the Eddie Vedder-fronted act. Each night, different musicians will take turns covering the band, including The Avett Brothers with Chris Cornell, Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold and Dierks Bentley with The Roots.

That Thursday and Friday (Oct. 24 & 25), Pearl Jam will grace the Late Night stage and close out what's sure to be an epic week. According to The Wrap, these will mark the band's only televised promo performances in support of new album Lightning Bolt, which arrives this Tuesday (Oct. 15) via Monkeywrench/Republic.
