Justin Timberlake has been added as a performer for the American Music Awards. It will be the first time the singer has performed solo at the award show.

Timberlake is nominated for five awards, as is Taylor Swift. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis lead with six nominations.

As we previously reported, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons, Miley Cyrus, One Direction and others are among this year's performers.

The AMAs will air live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
