With Foo Fighters heading into the homestretch leading up to their new album, the band will perform a weeklong residency on Late Show with David Letterman beginning next Monday (Oct. 13).

A press release also notes that frontman Dave Grohl will sit down for an interview with Letterman on Monday.

The five-night CBS gig is in addition to the band's upcoming HBO series, which kicks off on Oct. 17.

Foo Fighters' new album, Sonic Highways, is expected Nov. 17.
