Bob Dylan to Perform 'Late Show' Ahead of David Letterman's Farewell

Bob Dylan will make his first appearance on CBS's Late Show in nearly 22 years next week, the network revealed Friday.

He will perform on outgoing host David Letterman's penultimate episode next Tuesday (May 19), in which Bill Murray is slated to be the night's lead guest. Maybe they'd perform "Shelter From the Storm" together?

Dylan's previous performance on the show was on Nov. 18, 1993.

As we previously reported, Tom Hanks and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder are Letterman's guests on Monday (May 18), while CBS has not revealed the all-star lineup for the final episode on Wednesday (May 20).
