LISTEN: Vampire Weekend Performs Six New Tracks Off 'Modern Vampires'

Days ahead of their forthcoming Modern Vampires of the City, Vampire Weekend stopped by BBC Radio 1 to promote the new project. But they didn't come empty-handed. The band performed six songs off the long-awaited new record, some of which they have previously performed. The set included: “Everlasting Arms,” "Obvious Bicycle," "Ya Hey," “Step," “Unbelievers” and “Diane Young."

J. Cole on Monday unleashed a soulful new track, "Cole Summer," to promote his forthcoming album, Born Sinner; he literally promotes the new LP at the end of the track, proclaiming, "Born Sinner, June 25." Over the course of the song, he shouts out Tia and Tamara Mowry and Friday Night Lights—in his own way, of course.

Both acts have seen their profile rising in the past year, with Imagine Dragons escalating quickly following the success of their debut album, Night Visions, and Capital Cities currently climbing the charts with one of our favorite tracks of the year, "Safe and Sound."
