Just in time for the weekend, newcomer Claire Cottrill (aka Clairo) has released her debut diary 001 EP, and yes, it's perfect.
The six-track project arrived Friday via Fader Label and it includes the irresistible single "4EVER," which she released last month with an accompanied video she shot herself at Syracuse University, as well as her previously released breakout single "Pretty Girl."
“I decided on this title because to me, each song feels like a different diary entry from a different time in my life,” the 19-year-old artist said of the new EP. “There are songs from SoundCloud days, a song that took me seven months to finish, a song that was completely made in a studio ... It is the end of a chapter for me and I’m excited to show you what I've got next.”
As we previously mentioned, Clairo's new music comes as she will be supporting Dua Lipa on tour next month, in addition to stops at festivals such as Lollapalooza in August.
The EP is available across digital platforms and can be heard below.
