Young Fathers returned Tuesday with a brand new single called "Lord."

"We've just finished a new album and it's about fucking time," the band wrote as they announced the first preview of the upcoming record, however, cautioning: "You can't dance to it."

The new LP will follow the band's Mercury Prize-winning 2014 album Dead and their sophomore record White Men Are Black Men Too, the latter of which was among Variance's 50 Best Albums of 2015.

The Edinburgh trio had been relatively quiet this year while in the studio. They spent much of 2016 touring Europe and North America, and they confirmed Tuesday plans for a series of U.K. shows starting next March.
