SZA has taken a big step forward in her ascent to global dominance, with the release of Maroon 5's new single "What Lovers Do."

The singer contributed vocals to the track, which arrived on Wednesday after being promised over the weekend. As we previously mentioned, it's the Adam Levine-fronted band's second Top Dawg Entertainment collaboration, following last year's "Don't Wanna Know," which featured Kendrick Lamar.

SZA is currently in the middle of a North American headlining tour in support of her incredible new album Ctrl. And while some may question her decision to pair up with such a quintessential mainstream band, it's actually a perfect stepping stone for someone who could very well eventually be performing in arenas.
