At long last, Kesha's new album Rainbow has arrived (officially).
While the heavily anticipated record leaked earlier in the week, it was released in its proper form late Thursday night. It includes the previously heard tracks "Praying," "Woman," "Learn to Let Go" and "Hymn."
The new album, her first since 2012's Warrior, is a testament of resilience, the product of heartache and a liberated soul. And the 14 tracks are perhaps exactly what many longtime fans have eagerly expected, arguably not just a comeback record but the one she's been longing to make for years. (She even plunges into country territory.)
"Been a prisoner of the past / Had a bitterness when I looked back," Kesha sings on "Learn to Let Go" before declaring: "The past can't haunt me if I don't let it / Live and learn and never forget it."
