With his new album Building a Beginning just days away, Jamie Lidell has shared a funky, jubilant new song "Julian," inspired by his newborn son.

Following his impressive single "Walk Right Back," this latest cut is a distinctly upbeat ode to fatherhood reflective of the singer's newfound joy in his personal life, which is clearly influencing some incredible new material.

While the album is out on Oct. 14, "Julian" premiered Wednesday on Beats 1 and can be heard below.
