After releasing his hypnotic single "DR34M5" earlier this year, emerging Brooklyn-based artist Sam Friedman (aka Nerve Leak) has shared a sensual new offering  in the form of "Moon Pulls."

According to the 24-year-old singer-producer, the song originated as a poem inspired by "the intense feelings of embracing someone romantically after longing for them for over a year."

He admittedly veered toward darker production this time with hip-hop and trap-inflected beats fused with his own glimmering vocal samples, teetering from "low to high; soft to brash; submissive to dominant" in what he describes as a "metaphor for how the moon controls the tides."
