After debuting their new song "Cruel World" live last month, Phantogram has officially released the studio version of the track, which appears on the duo's upcoming album Three.

As we previously mentioned, the eerie cut, which premiered Wednesday on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show, indicates the band's new album will indeed be darker and moodier than some of their past material.  

Three is out on Oct. 7, but "Cruel World" can be heard below.
