After taking the stage with Big Boi over the weekend at Lollapalooza, Phantogram performed a show Sunday at Chicago's House of Blues, where the duo debuted a moody new track called "Cruel World."

The song—which has an eerie, "Creep" feel to it—comes just days after the band released another haunting cut, "Run Run Blood," and further proving their upcoming album Three will indeed be darker and more raw than some of their previous material. (And it's kind of wonderful.)

While they continue to share new music, the release date for Three has unfortunately been moved from Sept. 16 to Oct. 7.
