According to Billboard, the rapper-actor's latest effort is tracking high after first-day sales, with projections of more than 675,000, easily handing him his third consecutive No. 1 record. Some sources even predict NWTS could aim as high as 725,000 by the end of the tracking week on Sunday.
Only Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience, which arrived in March, has debuted this year with a higher mark, starting at No. 1 with 968,000 sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Interestingly, Timberlake's new set, The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2, releases on Tuesday, so it's almost guaranteed that industry insiders will be watching to see what happens then.
