With CMJ going on this week, New York is already lit up with many rising music acts performing. But Arcade Fire appears to be adding its name to the roster.
New posters spotted throughout Brooklyn suggest the band, which seems to be quite fond of cryptic marketing and surprise performances lately, is planning a pair of surprise shows on Oct. 18 and 19 somewhere in Brooklyn.
The posters do not provide a time or location, but based on the band's track record, it's likely that information may be provided merely hours in advance.
Arcade Fire is gearing up for the release of Reflektor on Oct. 29 via Merge. And if you missed it, the band shared a sample this weekend of new track "Awful Sound." Listen here.
