With only days left to go until the calendar hits 2014, Drake seems determined to keep his word and release new music by year's end.

After being prodded a bit in recent days about the whereabouts of the tracks he said he still planned to release this year, Drake responded late Tuesday night, tweeting: "That shit is coming stay patient. Haaa. NYE Anthem."

The track primarily in focus lately has been the Hit-Boy-produced "Trophies," a cut he has previewed recently during his tour.

As we previously reported, Drake said last month that he intended to release several songs before the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve, explaining that it might not exactly be "an EP, but maybe a blog thing like how I did ‘Versace,’ ‘The Motion,’ all those in one night," he explained. "I’ll probably do ‘Trophies’ and three or four other records."

So the wait continues...
