Virginia Beach singer-songwriter Jackson Breit has shared a sunny rendition of Rufus and Chaka Khan's "Tell Me Something Good," just in time for summer.

With assistance from friend and producer William Carney (aka Carneyval) and fellow vocalist Sophia Schoenau, Breit delivers a smooth, soulful cut mirroring what a Jack Johnson-Allen Stone collaboration might sound like.

"Tell Me," which follows Breit's take on Bill Withers' "Use Me," is likely of a preview of additional material on the way in the coming months.

While his name might be new to some, his sound is very polished and primetime-ready. His recent acoustic cover of Kendrick Lamar's "i" (heard above) is evidence of that.
