Leland Whitty of BADBADNOTGOOD is releasing a solo album, the multi-instrumentalist confirmed on Tuesday along with his new song "Awake."

The new track is first off the upcoming solo project, Anyhow, which is out Dec. 9 via Innovative Leisure. The seven-track album is said to find Whitty using a DIY approach to composition, production and his multi-instrument performance which looks inward and offers a personal expression, one which is reflective of the experience of music itself.
