California-based singer-songwriter and musician Ron Santee expresses the emotions of a struggling artist navigating through life's complications on his sophomore album, Cold Blooded Highway.

Incorporating a mixture of genres from rock, country, and Americana led by Santee’s vocal delivery and stylistics. From beginning to end, Cold Blooded Highway is infused with a versatile range of genres that are backed in its production which deviate away from the specific rock approach that Santee delivered previously on Wildfire Heart.

Sharing the same name as the album's title the opening song, “Cold Blooded” features traditional Americana elements and transitions from a charming devil-may-care country song of “Toodleloo”. Whether he’s giving catchy country music on tracks such as “Princess of Alibis” and “Desert Dog”, groove-driven songs like “Sneaky Hody”, or nostalgically pleasing components from “Prevailing Westerlies”. The EP in its entirety projects themes of life and its journey that comes with the highs and lows that are endured and enjoyed.
