Today is a busy day for new music, but one big release comes from Bloc Party.

The British indie outfit is back with their sixth studio album Alpha Games, out now via Infectious/BMG. In some ways, it seems perfectly timed, given the bursting revival of dance-punk sounds in the music landscape. Whether they recapture the magic is up for your interpretation, but it definitely feels great to have the band back.
