Hailing from Kosovo, alt/pop band SYTË have just released their 2022 debut, “Where Did the Love Go.” Transporting you to an other-worldly place, the four-piece fuse groovy, throbbing basslines with oscillating synths and soft yet snappy percussion to create a track that washes you with angelic introspection.

Lead singer Nita Kaja wrote the track shortly after the months of isolation, where she was finally able to reconnect with a friend and suddenly become flooded with inspiration and reinvigorated with creativity. She shares, “We hashed out all of our feelings about this insane global crisis and we began talking about how we feel so disconnected from ourselves and overall just extremely depressed from the circumstances at hand. After speaking to someone new for the first time in forever, the lyrics just started pouring out of me and the song was born!”

SYTË (meaning "eyes" in Albanian) is the result of a mish-mash of individuals from different musical backgrounds. Taking inspiration from everything ranging from pop and R&B, to Jazz, Metal and indie/alt, they concoct their own unique sound that they explain, “transcends genre, geography, age, and gender, and is so unique that you can only really describe it with emotion rather than words.”
