The queen is still queen, as Dolly Parton has just released her new album Run, Rose, Run.

The iconic country singer has shared the new project as a companion to the novel of the same name which is co-authored by James Patterson and Parton, set to be released on Tuesday (March 7). The album also includes Parton's new song "Woman Up (And Take It Like A Man)."

"I just think this song really suits both of the female characters in the book," says Parton. "If you're going to be in this business you've got to toughen up! You gotta 'woman up and take it like a man'—be as good as or better than all these men...managers, record label folks and these other characters that give them a hard time in the story."

She adds: "This was one song that I think is kind of like another '9 to 5,' another woman's anthem. I had all female voices on that one and I think it came out really good!"

The new music comes at a busy time for Parton, who will host the Academy of Country Music Awards on Tuesday, airing on Amazon Prime. Later this month, the documentary Still Working 9 to 5, which reunites the stars of the original film 9 to 5 (Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin), will premiere at SXSW. Following the premiere, Parton will perform at the Austin festival live for the first time.
