Atlanta pop artist Nadia Vaeh speaks about her encounters with a snakey woman in her new single, “Snake Lady”. We’ve all been there - becoming bewitched by someone’s charming ways before eventually uncovering their true identity and ultimately getting hurt. In this case, Vaeh speaks of someone taking advantage of her vulnerabilities, as she explains, “I was in a very vulnerable place in my life and she exploited that. Despite all of this she did give me something in return as I was now able to explore more of my sexuality and was pushed even further and deeper into my journey as an artist and back into my skin.”

Built upon pulsing synths, infectious melodies and a fast-paced, toe-tapping beat, the songwriter gives us a confident and fiery delivery with a sassy edge. Vaeh has something to say and you’re going to listen. Packed with emotion, she uses her life experiences to drive her music. Tragically losing her mother to suicide when she was only 17 years old, Vaeh’s life has not been an easy one and yet she refuses to let it hold her back. This surge of determination can be heard throughout her music, giving it the energy and passion that we’ve come to love. 

With the release of “Snake Lady,” Vaeh has partnered with the non-profit arts and education organization, “Love Yourself Project”. The musician will be raising money to help provide community programs that promote self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-esteem and skill-building, Vaeh shares, “We live in a world that profits on self-doubt, and it can be so easy to fall prey to bad people and situations if you aren’t aware.”
