Newcomer Frances Baker has delivered something truly special in the form of her new single "Crazy Now," which is only her second yet.

It's a spellbinding track, captivating listeners quickly with an intense fusion of a piano underscore and drumline seemingly competing but actually providing the perfect space for Baker's breathtaking vocals.

Says Baker: "'Crazy Now' is a song that rather than telling a story dives into an emotion. This piece was written around the drum and piano part—and tries to play with the space the song is being 'performed' in. The applause midway takes apart the linear structure of the song, mirroring the come and go nature of certain feelings.”

The new song follows the Nashville-based musician's previous single "Bringing Me Down," which she released while on tour with breakout artist Arlo Parks across the U.K.
