After returning over the summer with new music, My Morning Jacket has now released their self-titled new album.

The glorious new record arrived Friday via ATO Records, and it's a breathtaking experience. It includes the band's previously released tracks “Regularly Scheduled Programming,” as well as “Love Love Love" and “Complex."

The new album follows a period in which the band felt like they had entered a permanent "hiatus." But after a series of live shows (including two mind-blowing nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre), the band had an "urge to carry on," with a new sense of purpose.
