Jamestown Revival is back with new music, and a new album on the way.

The Nashville-based duo made up of Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance are embracing their Texas roots on the newly released single "Young Man," the soaring preview and title track off their upcoming album, which was recorded back in Texas with producer, fellow Texan and Variance favorite Robert Ellis, who has clearly has been very busy lately (he's also featured on and co-produced The Lone Bellow frontman Zachary Williams' new album Dirty Camaro).

“How far removed from our younger selves have we become? Sometimes it seems like just yesterday that we were full of piss and vinegar and blissful ignorance,” says Jamestown Revival. “We hadn't yet felt the burdens and responsibilities of growing up. ‘Young Man’ is about trying to identify with our younger selves, someone we know from old photographs and memories that start to feel a little more distant with each passing year and asking ourselves, ‘Is that part of me still there? Do I still have the same fire that I once knew?’”

The full album, Young Manwill arrive on Jan. 14, with a tour starting the same day. Ellis will join as part of the band and will serve as opening act, while Miso will support on select dates as well.
