Nashville duo Elenowen is heading into the weekend with their stirring new track "Believer."

The new song arrived Friday as a preview from the pair's upcoming album Say I Don't Scare You, which will arrive Nov. 5 via Tone Tree Music. Made up of husband and wife Josh and Nicole Johnson, the moniker Elenowen comes by way of the singers' parents middle names "Ellen" and "Owen."

The new record is said to be like a conversation between the two, in the midst of uprooting and facing challenges, fighting to keep their love alive. Writing and recording the new material ultimately allowed the pair to grow and change and form a stronger bond.

On "Believer," Josh points to the refrain "I'm not going anywhere" as a message of assurance to his wife in a time of fear and insecurity. “In some ways it’s a response to Say I Don’t Scare You in how it says, 'I know your past and how you got here, and I accept who you are now. I believe in you and who you’re becoming. I see you, and I am not afraid.'"

So yeah, that is seriously powerful. And candid. And it's worth noting, given the context, their previously released single "Lost at Sea" is a perfect companion track.
