After the release of her self-titled EP, indietronica queen Aibai is back with a double-drop delight. Her two new singles, both collaborations with good friend and music artist Colby Hansen, are set to sweep you off your feet into a dreamland of femininity and all things queer love songs. “Aura” and “All Night” radiate sunshine, cinematic ambience and romantic excitement.

The 23-year-old self-produced both singles showing us her unreal emporium of talents. “Aura” is a total sonic aesthetic, with lyrics like, “your aura’s so bright it's like purple and sunshine.” The track gives off a soothing, romantic, giddy effect, written about spotting a cute girl in a crowd at a concert and wanting to spend the night dancing away. The track bubbles with the butterfly emotions of mustering up the courage to go and say hi for the first time. Glassy sounds float atop soft, idyllic synths and dancing guitar melodies, creating an atmospheric release.

“All Night” narrates a situation whereby a relationship may result in falling apart after it becomes long-distance. Having to move somewhere to chase your dreams came with a sacrifice in this song. The track has a more upbeat feel than “Aura” and carries a subtle heavier feeling, glazed in a sense of energy as the story moves on for bittersweet reasons. The pulsing synths and beat lay out a rich pallet of electronic vibes with a far more darker tone to the track. Beautiful narration amongst the kaleidoscopic soundscape, makes this track just as absorbing as “Aura.”

Aibai and Colby Hansen have blessed us with a double dose of dreamland, electronic paradise. Go and listen to “Aura” and “All Night” now!
