British artist Shakka has recruited D.C. rapper GoldLink for his new song, which happens to be called "Solo."
The new track arrived Friday via Base 'N Rebulz/Marathon Artists, produced by London producer Komenz. It follows Shakka's other recent single "When You Pull Up" as well as a Grammy win for his songwriting on Dua Lipa's latest album Future Nostalgia.
Before the start of the pandemic last year, Shakka had been working on his own debut album with the likes of Al Shux (Jay-Z, Alicia Keys), Jonah Christian (Snoh Aalegra, Anderson. Paak) and Karl Rubin (Swae Lee, 6LACK). The record is now aiming for release later this year.
