Just two weeks after releasing his Cruise Control EP, Variance favorite Ben Kessler has shared a new version of his standout single "Known Like This."

While the original version of the track was released in 2019, this "reimagination" comes by way of Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda, who mixed the track live on Twitch.

“I think Ben Kessler is a remarkable talent who a lot of people are about to discover," said Shinoda recently. "This track has been a highlight of my Twitch channel productions so far.”

For his part, Kessler says: “I wrote ‘Known Like This’ in 2019 about feeling insecure about myself and uncertain about my music. I never could have imagined one of my biggest musical influences would later create his own version of the track. Mike is so gracious with his time + talent and it is so validating to have his support.”
