Hoops has gotten together again and released a new song called "Fall Back."

The Indiana trio had gone on hiatus in 2018, leaving it open-ended, but behind the scenes, it felt permanent. Nonetheless, the group made up of longtime friends Drew Auscherman, Kevin Krauter and Keagan Beresford is back and the hypnotic new single is the first off their upcoming album Halo, which will be out Oct. 2 via Fat Possum Records.

“I had to rediscover why I wanted to be in a band and make songs and perform,” says Keagan Beresford of the break. “I had been having a lot of anxiety when I was onstage. I wasn’t even thinking about playing. I was just thinking about getting through the set without falling on my face. It’s crazy to think about all the shows we did where I wasn’t really present.”

The new record will be the followup to Hoops' 2017 debut album Routines.
