Phoebe Bridgers just released her sophomore album Punisher a few hours early.

The album had originally been expected to arrive on Friday, but the singer shared it on Thursday afternoon along with a pointed message about the current state of the world: "I’m not pushing the record until things go back to 'normal' because I don’t think they should. Here it is a little early. Abolish the police. Hope you like it."

Her tweet also included a link which would appear to have the album on all digital platforms, but it was actually a series of links for non-profit organizations she encourages fans to donate to, such as Movement For Black Lives and The Trevor Project.

Last month, Bridgers released her song "I See You," which was originally called "ICU," but she changed the titled because, "*gestures at entire world*." She also appears on The 1975's new song "Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America."
