Earlier this month, Nick Hakim shared his song "QADIR." And today he's back with a new track called "CRUMPY," the latest preview of his upcoming album.

According to Hakim, the wandering new cut is inspired partly by the madness of the world. It features guitar work from Mac DeMarco and is the second preview of new album WILL THIS MAKE ME GOOD, which arrives May 15 via ATO Records.

"I feel the people simmering, on our way to the boiling point," says Hakim. "There's a lot of madness going on around us and this world can feel so cold. It can get hard to remember what makes it worth it. The people around me and the music I love helps."

He adds: "I hope this music will raise awareness about where we are right now. About how we are living on this planet. About how we treat our neighbors. About community. About depression. About what can heal us and what can't."
