Whether it's sunny and clear or cold and bleak where you're at, Montreal outfit Chiiild has a new song perfect to soundtrack your day.

"Hands Off Me" arrived Wednesday and it's truly a mesmerizing cut, a preview off the band's upcoming Synthetic Soul EP, which is eyeing a Feb. 28 release via indie label Avant Garden, the collective behind several Variance favorites such as THEY., Emotional Oranges and Slenderbodies.

According to Chiiild, the new song is for "when you don’t care who’s watching; I don’t care who’s listening."

While this might be their first track of the year, it follows a steady output of recent releases such as their impressive tracks "Back to Life" and "Count Me Out," all of which are making clear this is definitely an artist to watch. As we previously reported, they'll also be playing Governors Ball this June.
